BIBC update

Today (Thursday) started with Ross beginning his attempt to retain the BIBC singles title in a game against Stephen Coleman from Ireland in the preliminary round. Played in hot conditions, Ross eventually ran out as 21 – 19 winner after 26 ends. This was followed by the Pairs Semi-final with Malcolm against the Scottish duo of John Fleming Jnr and Sandy Wotherspoon. In what was another closely fought contest over 21 ends, Ross and Malcolm emerged victorious by 18 shots to 12 and will now contest the Gold medal against Terence Crawford and Gary Easton of Ireland tomorrow. In his third and final game of the day, Ross came up against Louis Ridout of England but unfortunately came up just short, losing 12 -16, after yet another close game. Good luck to our boys in their Pairs final tomorrow afternoon @ 1.30!
