The Sun Bowls Club recently held two open evenings for new and prospective members to try out the game of bowls. In some fantastic early season weather, some 30 would be bowlers enjoyed about an hour on each occasion getting to know the basics of the game, guided by members of the Club. The two evenings were so successful that there will be another evening on Wednesday 27th April from around 5.45pm. The invitation is extended to anyone who would like to ‘have-a-go’. Simply turn up at the club on the night wearing flat soled shoes.
