| Originally part of the sports facilities provided by the Sun Works, later the Overseas Trading Company, Sun Bowls Club members enjoy excellent facilities to socialise and play a sport that offers many challenges.
The Sun is a very active mixed Lawn Bowls Club. The members enjoy a very good bowling and social life. Inter club, inter Island and Club competitions are a regular feature of the annual calendar, and cater for members of all ages and ability, always finishing with afternoon tea in the Pavilion, or a drink at the bar. The Green, which was professionally laid in 1926, is maintained by the members and is rated as one of the best on the Island. |
