Players and spectators took up the patriotic theme of ‘red, white and blue’ for the annual Liberation Day Trophy competition at the Sun Bowls Club. In testing conditions, the winners on the day were Cathy Le Sueur, Phil Bichard and Russell Eyre (6 points and +35 shot difference) beating the team of Margaret Le Sueur, Peter Davis and Ann Cross, who finished with 6 points and +12 shot difference.
