French Day 2019 at Sun Bowls Club

Congratulations to Tony and Margaret Osmont for another successful and enjoyable French Day. Thanks must also go to all their many helpers, especially those who helped in the kitchen to provided us with croissants and coffee for breakfast and then a typical French lunch of cheeses, pate, saucisson, salads, French bread etc., followed by gateaux – and all washed down with a glass (or two!) of wine. The dress code of red, white and blue was taken up by all the players making for a colourful spectacle on a green bathed in warm sunshine. The winning team, with a shot difference of +20, was the team of Margaret Le Marquand, Andy Gibbs and Russell Eyre. Congratulation to them! View some photos on the Gallery page.
